 SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAAN AND OPEN DEFICATION FREE PROGRAM

Chaitanya Sravanthi is stands in forefront of any mission which helps poor and which enhances their life styles. From so many years the organization is conducting cleanliness campaigns and driving people to clean their native areas by motivating them and by personally involving in the activities.

No wonder Chaitanya Sravanthi took a major role in Swachh Bharat Mission as soon as it declared in 2014 October 2nd on the eve of Mahathma Gandhi’s 145th birth anniversary. Since the roots of Chaitanya Sravanthi had spread all over the city of Visakhapatnam, people’s participation in this mission is awestruck. Chaitanya Sravanthi has conducted so many cleanliness activities under Swachh Bharat Mission in and around the city and creating enormous awareness on the benefits of cleanliness among the illiterate and slum areas.

The organization also grabbing the attention of others by involving many officials in each activity and thus creating a path to others to participate,

Chaitanya Sravanthi has conducted Clean India Mission activities in major areas like Bus Complex, King George Hospital, Beach Roads and Beach. The chosen areas were largely crowded and distinctly polluted with wastages and disposables in return they cause passive health disorders to others especially children.

Chaitanya Sravanthi recently conducted a campaign and clean India activity on Open Defecation Free program in 22nd ward named chilakapeta. Large number of women groups were participated and showed a significant change in the means of cleanliness. Dr.Shirin Rahman has also conducted a small awareness among the people who came to watch and were amazed by the tremendous change which they never saw this area like never before.
